Gym Overall Review Score
Reviewer: johnny Zakharia
Cost of membership: Over priced
Very disappointed with Spartacus Gym. From day one when they lied about the 35 dollars a month sign which is displayed outside I should have known. I paid for their 20 dollar for a week plan. I just went for one visit. Then I got sick. So on DAY 8 I asked them if I can attend for a 2nd time. They said no and wanted more money. I even said that one dropin fee is 10 dollars so I should be allowed a 2nd visit. However they refused while they took 20 dollars for one visit. And I am low income also. And I am not sure if people are aware that this is a basement gym which is quite old also. The locker rooms are old and the scale was not working. Please do not give them your business. Thank you.
Cost of membership: too much
Cons: Was threatened and yelled at by one of the personal trainer for no real reason. very old poorly maintained equipment. Very dirty.
Thoughts: The gym is priced like it's Golds but the rec center 2 blocks away is far better.
The best gym in the city is (and why):
