Absolutely, without a doubt, the worst gym I've ever been to. I moved to the city a year ago and wasn't too familiar with which gyms are good and which aren't. I signed up for Premier since it's in one of the most high end malls in the area and has free parking. They were under construction and assured me everything would be up and running within a month. After the one year term was up, THEY WERE STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION.
I complained and was told I'd receive three months free due to the inconvinience. I then walked in to greet the manager and take her up on her offer she pretended as though we had never spoken. There was always a minimum of three tredmills broken. Two of the bike were out of order the entire year I was there. It's a completely unprofessional, dirty and clausterphobic place.
I went to Extreme Fitness on Dunfield and it's definitely better. Brighter and even though it's just as packed with people you don't have to wait for machines.

Do NOT sign up for a socalled "Free Trial"! I went in twice during the ten days: Every treadmill had something wrong with it, the place looked dirty and felt airless, and their Zumba class was boring. I never went back. Now they say I signed up for the year, even though I did not get a permanent Membership card and clearly did not "join" the gym. They are not in the fitness business. They have no real product here to sell, since the gym is so awful. Their business is to scam people with fakeout contracts.

I am longtime member at premier member who paying bimonthly. Over the summer, I tricked by one their sales person into paying upfront for one year with a promise of two months free. I just found that this sales person lied. He didn't forward this information toheadoffice and just wrote with pen on my copy of the bill. I inquired with the front desk as to when does my membership expires and I was told that it expires in one year so I asked the sales person regarding two months. He brushed me off by saying head office will process once they get my paperwork. This was in may 2010. I found out yesterday that there is no two months free on my membership. Moreover I need to show the contract to prove I was promised two months free. I am extremely disappointed in cheap tactics in talking someone in signing up. I will not be renewing my membership after it expires.

The place is rancid, I heard a manager screaming literally at staff over things laid on the floor and the toilets and shower rooms are under construction. No pool facilities and the staff look friggin miserable. The manager is some short fat guy who obviously loves to be heard and couldnt care less what a customer standing watching him thinks...
I took one look and walked away and was told by a staff member that the shower facilities are under construction and will be finished in a couple of weeks but he openly told me that is what they are made to tell the people so the customer will sign up for a contract. He began to tell me that us customers are called friggin CLIENTS, I wasnt aware I was going to be categorised as a hookers only source of income. Went to Extreme Fitness and although they had the same selling tactics their facilities were immaculate and the staff were genuinely pleased to see me and the manager looked like he should be in the gym and was a pleasure to deal with and eye candy with that....Shut the dirty hole down!!!

At the moment they are only offering cardio. The weights and machine area was flooded and will take 8 weeks to fix. No showers or change rooms either until then. Currently I'm looking for another gym. They are also removing the pool/whirlpool and building a boxing ring. My concern here is that, given the area, it will attract the wrong element.
Hopefully they are taking advantage of the renovation time to fix the toilets which haven't changed since I worked there (different company) 20 years ago.

2 months into membership, they close down pool for repairs and 8 months later, no pool permanently! Was told maintenance work cannot be done because of location in mall and washrooms are deplorable, especially the men's, I heard straight from a staff member.
