Cost of membership:
Pros: now that this was taken over by GoodLife, what a positive difference
Cons: very large, but lots of good equipment
Thoughts: great club
The best gym in the city is (and why):
This is no longer a Premier club, and was taken over and completely redone by GoodLife in September 2012. I am a member at another GoodLife club and was able to use this facility it's stellar. Aerobic classes, spinning and hot yoga and lots of cardio equipment all over the gym. I pay the extra and use this club for hot yoga. Never any hassles. Clean gym with lots of space.

Pros:good location and atmosphere
Cons:Missing dumbells,pins and more than half of the treadmills doesnt work including ,mens room clean but always smells like shit especially the bathrooms and steam room(no one goes in it)
Thoughts:next time i would consider the Premier on milcreek ,the community centre or goodlife

This is the worst of the worst IMHO. I have trained at a number of gyms both here, in the UK and in South Africa and this is the worst. My advice is do not walk away from them, run a million miles

Hi, I request a freeze in my membership but was not told that this will be only 24 month freeze. At the end of the next year, I went back to get my 9months back. I was told that they can only give me 3 months and I must have signed a written form stating that it will only be for 3months. I was certain I was not give that form to sign and the Premier Fitness employee skipped that process. A request was made by the manager to locate the written form. "Kathy, the supervisor" fail to provide me with that form and my signature and fail to give me back any refund or extra time. Basically, a Premier Fitness employee's error and the customer pays ... it was almost $250 for the error. I spoke with the upper manager, John as I thought this was ridiculous. He then agreed to give me 3 months only if I purchase a month to month plan ... i.e a sales pitch! I was not demeaning and I had no angry tone. Rather John seems to be carrying the angry tone and a fighting conversation. I am not sure what $200 means to the manager of Mississauga Premier Fitness when you have a customer who should be quite irate but still decent enough to swallow it through. Sounds like bullies to nice customers.

I recently "popped in" with my step daughter to inquire about a memberships. The guy simply pointed out the female side and said "I can't go in there, but have a walk around." I asked him about fees and he rushed thru the options which left me confused. He knew nothing about a discounted rate for law enforcement, which every gym has...the visit was brief, as he didn't offer us any information about classes or any extras. Didn't even bother to show us around the rest of the club! No free trial passes, no nothing..I'm joining another club and will stay clear of this one!

this place is "ok" nothing great, but it is clean, convenient, and the staff is friendly towards me. They do need to stay on top of fixing their machines though as they can be slow. I've learned never to give this franchise a credit card or debit information as the owner is a scumbag, but this gym is close and convenient so I paid $400 (cash)for the year. I'm in decent shape and told them upfront I have no interest in training or extras. So far, they haven't tried to hot me with extras

I absolutely agree with all the above comments! This is probably the worst gym i've ever been to. Just to add a few things, the staff is pushy and there are cockroaches in Dixie/Dundas location!!

Everybody reading this, do yourself a favour and stay away from this gym. Premier Fitness is nothing but a bunch of scam artists who misinform members from the start of a membership. They tell you you have the ability to pull out of a contract if given two weeks notice, then when it comes time when you need to cancel, they rape you up the ass and tell you that you're bound by a oneyear written contract. Tell all of your friends or anyone you know not to join this gym, you will be glad you didn't.

Asked for cancellation of contract on August 2007 and have been told that cancellation cannot be acceptated without prior freeze. Sent email for freeze (my intiative for I have not been told to ask in writting) and called on January 17, 2008 to cancell. My call has not been processed, nor was I told that I have to provide written cancellation. I was billed for 7 months after asking for cancellation. This is abuze of customers accounts and unacceptable behavior. Will ensure any existing and new potential customers learn about this behaviour by all means.

They are bullies...first the fitness evaluation fees that came out of nowhere....then during evaluation they would force you to buy Personal Training sessions.
They forced me to sign 900 dollar Personal Training session and then I found that I wouldn't get appointments on time. At that point I wanted to cancel my sessions and I am told I can't because its been 12 days. Absolutely BS....still that crappy gym they said new one is under construction by february and now they saying end of march.
