The best gym in the city is (and why):
This overpriced gym had very little parking because it was situated on a busy road with paid parking meters. Also, they call themselves a 24 hour gym? It was only 24 hours if the night janitor would show up for work. If she was sick, which happened on a few occassions, and they couldnt cover her nightshift, then the gym would be closed. why pay so much money when half the time it wasnt open 24/7

Staff are rude and treat everyone as a potential thief. Equipment is always broken, and whenever you voice a concern to staff, they tell you to call Chicago.(?!!?!) Apparently the place is owned by a firm in Chicago, which would explain the lack of maintenance, repairs, and care that this gym exhibits. Fees are high, the rates quoted are only for lockedin year memberships, and you must send your written notice via registered mail to Chicago to close your account, or else they keep billing you. I had to close my bank account and start a new one, because legally the year long membership i signed up for was a "legal one year minimum obligation" meaning they could keep charging me. They did.

Save yourself tons of trouble and find a better gym.

Oh, one more thing. total bro sausage fest, to any that care.

Hot water for their showers is only available about 10% of the time. When asked about it, the answer given was "it's been like this for a year, there's nothing we can do about it". Something to do with the building manager. Funny that they fail to mention this before you sign with them...

Used to be much better... recently there are fewer classes, too many pieces of "out of order" equipment, prices have gone up, fewer payment options, no new equipment, only a few nasty toilet stalls in the changeroom... Prices have gone up and quality down. A disappointment.

    Tracking Your Weights

    There are lots of easy ways to track your sets and reps. One easy way is through a little book that you can take with you to the gym. This book has progress charts, workouts and lots of tools you can use to always make sure you are improving.
