Cost of membership:$47+tax per month
Pros:really good machines
Cons: they charge a lot then they're supposed to. when I dropped by and talked about this issue, the manager was really rude and arrogant. he said he solved the issue but i dunno if he did or not!!!
Thoughts: I am waiting for my membership to finish... DO NOT EVER JOIN EXTREME

Cost of membership:60+ month (with a corporate rate)
Pros:there are always machines available and the facility is nice
Cons:The pushy way the sales staff operates and the attitude you get when you dont want to take "adavantage of their offers"
Thoughts:I had purchased * training sessions purely to help accustom myself with the facility, i had no intention of continuing after the 8 session and i made that clear from session 1.
the session came with 2 nutitional assessments (not optional). when i had my nutitional assessment the nutitionsist was late and complacent. offered me absolutely no assistance and couldnt have been less interested in our conversation. We booked my second appointment that day and then a couple days before my second appointment he called to cancel and then said he would call me back to arrange another time. I never heard from him again.
by the time i had my 6th training session with my trainer he w3as pushing me to go to see the manager about continuing. he was very forceful of it saying they had asked to see me and wouldnt let me blow it off. i went to the office where they gave me options to continue and prices. all of which i said i could not afford at this time and i was happy with my 8 sessions. they kept hounding me. After my 7th they asked me to go back in again, then on my last session my trainer led me to the office yet again. i told the manager " i cant afford this" and he told me that they currently had a promotion going on. when i tolh him i had heard enough, that it wasnt in the cards right now and then politely excused myself from the office he gave me attitude.
I truly do not like this gym and wish i had been more carfeul in selecting where i was going to work out. the sales tactics are sketchy and pushy, rude and unappreciative, from the moment you walk into the reception area. if you dont have a penis teh front desk girls couldnt care less about you. I wish i could get out of my contract but i have another 8 months.
