Cost of membership:joining after christmas has special membership rate which is affordable, can stop membership temporarily and instead of monthly rate charged only $7 for that period
Pros:location, close to bus, special membership rate at the time
CONS:All pretty well left on own to exercise, if you don't understand machinery you either risk using it and hurting self with wrong use, or avoid it and use tread mill or bikes only or do stretch exercises there is always a staff member around but they either do one on one extra paid training, or just sit at a desk doing nothing.Nobody to help except the head of athletics Costa who, if there, is always helpful and nice and offers free advice.
Also, no ambience, too many old people of a certain ethnic group mostly,who find the gym the place to socialize, not many young people, not a place for young or mid age people to make friends
Rates good, flexible membership but not much extra with membership,like yoga or aerobics etc.Basically a start place to get off couch or because no other exercise alternative.
Paid parking but with a one time purchase of fob there, can park once a day with no extras.But, if u want to go twice the same day or stay a little longer to have a nice meal after exercise, your your fob does not cover the extra parking.Bummer.

Cost of membership:Too much for nothing
Pros:Women
Cons: Staff,prices,hours,staff,customer service,staff,trainers are stuck up,and the staff is horrendous
Thoughts:If you enjoy paying a lot to get walked all over than join this place. Been a member for 6 years and had no problems until this year when they brought in new staff to push memberships. The hours suck, only open until 1030 monday to thursday and 8 friday. Sat and Sun open until 6.

Cost of membership: Paid $550 for the yr including tax which I think is expensive.
Pros: Clean, equipment in good shape, various equipment, good location.
Cons: Expensive, unfriendly staff, a lot of students and seniors attend who like to sit and chat.
Thoughts: Overall an okay gym provided you don't mind paying a little extra for a good location close to a bus stop, and having the staff basically cold shoulder.

Basically your above average gym, its got basketball courts that are in kinda shitty condition but the weight area and cardio area are nice and its not tooooo busy. The staff are pretty chill and the bathrooms are kept clean. Its also pretty flexible time wise. Parking is really the only bad thing as there is a sorta chokepoint where cars enter and exit the parking space. They have a nice cafeteria and patio too. If your just looking for your basic everyday needs this is a good place to start.
