Cost of membership:Good
Pros:Women only; boutique style gym; good for beginners or women like myself who is very fit, spins, runs etc.
Cons:Doesn't work if you want to be a power lifter, otherwise it's great
Thoughts:very nonintimidating
The best gym in the city is (and why): Balance Fitness; privately owned and very personal service
