Cost of membership:$50/month
Pros: None.
Cons:The MANAGER of my club lost my cancellation form and they had the nerve to blame me for shredding my single copy, they replied with "here at Goodlife we do everything in triplicate" thus implying that if I had REEEEALLLY cancelled they'd have it. In reality, it just makes them look like morons for losing 2 copies. I'll never recommend this gym to anyone in my life. They refused to help me even after I submitted a report to the BBB, so these are my two cents.
As a result, my last payment wasn't taken out on the proper date and when they decided "oh, maybe I should rip her off today" I had emptied the account that I used to pay my membership with. My problem, I know, I shouldn't have assumed a company like this would have their shit together after 35 goddamn years in business. So not only did I get a $45 NSF from my bank, Goodlife was sweet enough to deny that I had cancelled and charged me a $35 NSF fee. Ahh, I love the smell of FML in the morning.
Go to hell, Goodlife, you'll be seeing these reviews everywhere for as long as you continue to deny that I was IN YOUR CLUB with your MANAGER and cancelled. Take the children off of your roster and have some true professionals work with you, then maybe you won't look so pathetic.

Cost of membership: corporate 35/mo
Pros:bright, airy, spacious facility on two floors with natural lighting from many windows. Equipment is new and, for the most part well maintained. The counter staff are a pleasure to deal with.
Cons: The facility has some equipment which requires supervision by personal trainers (i.e. kettle bells, TRX suspension frame etc.). Some equipment repairs (shampoo dispensers, weigh scales, vinyl/leather unholstery on machines etc.) takes an inordinate amount of time. Management tends to rely on members identifying issues with the facility or equipment rather than having a proactive progam executed by staff.
Thoughts: In balance, this is a great club with potential to be even better.
