Goodlife Fitness Gym Review and Locations
Goodlife was created by David Patchell Evens in 1979 and since then has become the most popular gym in Canada with over 220 health clubs or gyms in all the major cities in Canada with the exception of Vancouver. Price Plans
Price plans are many and are fairly secretive until you sit down with a membership coordinator whounderstands how much you are willing to pay.
Student Rate
Student rates are usually much less than the general public so don't forget to show your ISAC card when you meet with the coordinator. Pricing can vary depending on the location. Student rates are usually a start-up fee (125-300 dollars) plus a monthly fee which costs anywhere from $30-40.
General Public
The general public rate is anywhere from 45-55 a month with a 250-300 dollar initiation fee. These rates may have changed since early 2009.
Corporate Rate
The corporate rate can be a big discount and is usually closely associated with the student rate. Corporate rates are usually organized with the company itself and then all employees can get the rate that they have negotiated. Pricing could be 10-40 per month.
Personal Training
Personal training is usually where most clubs make a lot of extra cash. All gyms charge anywhere from 40-100 an hour (while the trainer actually makes 15-35 an hour) for a session and are usually sold in a package of 5,10 or 15. The rate differs depending on the education of the trainer. An 'Elite Trainer' usually has a bachelors in kinesiology along with various personal training certifications. Most of the Goodlife Fitness locations all a variety of services to choose from. You can really get a great workout done at a Goodlife Fitness. Some locations will vary with: Squash courts, tanning beds, tennis courts, swimming pools, a track. If those services are important to you then we suggest that you call the location to make sure they have that service.
