If you want to mix up walking and jogging on the treadmill (interval training), you will burn more calories than just straight walking. Try walking for 2 min and then jog for 1 then back to walk. DO this until you get to 1 min walk and 1 min jog.
Try doing your abdominal workouts every other day. They are a muscle and need to rest. Remember that gains are made during the rest period, not the working out period.
