Body Building | Random questions

little background... im 23 now.. i lifted like crazy in highschool went from 90 lbs in the 8th grade to just under 200 when i graduated. there was even a month during one winter i averaged almost 2/3 lb per day gain ( my parents would not allow me to take supplements either so it was all on what i did and ate). i lifted about 2 hrs a day 5 days a week and ran every night but never more than like 2 miles.. and that leads into my question. anytime i run i can make it not much over a mile and my throat just KILLS me. my legs can go forever.. i can bike 20 miles in a day on single-track mountain bike trails and my body loves it but if i run much over a mile my throat is dead... in thru the nose out thru the mouth . .all tha tgood stuff doesnt help.

next question .. if im on my heavier sets on my curls or tricep extensions my forearms feel crazy .. like blood is trying really hard to sqeeze thru .. i dont know for sure how to describe it but yeah.. and it makes me wonder kuz i have crazy big blood veins sooo..

anyways

To be honest, I have never seen that problem with anyone that I have encountered yet.. You may want to ask your doctor (If he doesnt know ask your sports medicine doctor).

That is very normal from what I can tell.. but have you had your blood pressure checked? It is completely normal for blood to pump into an area that is constantly being used. Bigger veins are a sign of good circulation and is nothing to worry about.

I hope that answers your question,
