I found the help above on this site in my search for more info on Pilates. It even has little clips showing the movements. The more I look into this though, I think I will take a class, at least to start. Funny how unsimple the simple stuff is!

4/14/2004 12:26:32 PM | I take a pilates class at my gym and really enjoy the workout. I don't break a sweat but my muscles are still hot later in the evening. The exercises are quite involved and require a fair amount of awareness of what muscles you are contracting. As much as you don't want to buy something, I really suggest you do because there are techniques and philosophies that you can't learn without an experienced guide and someone who is reminding you about your form during a pose. This may not be what you wanted to hear but trust me, its harder than it looks!
