i'm looking for a good home gym for me and my entire family. does anyone recommend Bowflex or are the other "stack" sytems better? i have some free weights, treadmill, bike, dip station and a very old York home gym with pulleys and wires that i'm not crazy about. i want to get something that will last a long time and give my muscles something to resist.

A good mat can help you do a lot of stuff and it's cheap. You can do yoga and calisthenics for example. What you already have seems fine to me though.

They work a little bit but that will only help you soo much...remeber going with a excercise routine with free weights an cardio will get you further than anything else.

What about vibration machines for muscle training?

No i do not recremend the bowflex. The reason is the fact that free weights will do way better for you rather than any of the other types of machines.

From what see you have all that you really need. If you were t buy one though i would probably use the bowflex.

Hope that helps.
