Exercise Questions | Excercising after illness


I was recently ill, and lost a huge amount of weight ( and all my muscle)i am trying to gain the weight back with out it being fat, so I am excercising alot. I am finding that the weight is returning to my abdominal area, and the rest of me still looks like a string bean. I am afraid that if i do fat burning cardio for my ab area, i will burn off any new muscle i did get. any ideas? thankyou. feeling better

You neeeeed to build muscle mass using weights AND cardio for increasing your metabolism.
