General Health | Weight loss help

I'm 5'4" and 149 lbs. I want to lose 10-15 lbs in the next 3 months. My diet is good (no fast food, lots of water, etc.) But just for a guideline, about how many calories should I be getting per day to reach this goal?

Exercise is the main part I need help with. I can't get a gym membership right now, or buy any expensive equipment, so that's not an option. So basically I have running, basketball, biking, jump roping, and other stuff like that available. How much of each of those specific activates should I do to burn a good amount of fat each day?

Do exercise like walking,running.Add green tea in
your diet.Avoid junk foods and soft drinks.Avoid
oily foods.

Walking is a good exercise. Even if you
want to reduce you body weight in a
shorter period do swim on daily basis.

I had gone through the post. The suggestions which are provided in the previous posts regarding the weight loss are good. With that suggestion, you may get the solution or else once consult the doctor and check out your body condition then after you may processed these things as your interest. Before following these, Just go through which are more suitable and good for your body condition with that we may get the positive results.

It will better to do those activates daily for two hours. Also you better take honey with warn Luke water and lemon water, to lose fat quickly. Many people drink this formula in the morning to reduce weight. It works faster than that of honey with Luke warm water.

Take one glass of warm water and mix two teaspoons of honey and one teaspoon of lemon juice in that, mix gently and drink daily in the morning. Definitely it will help you to reduce the fat in your body.

Cardio burns fat. So running, swimming, aerobic,
jumping rope, doing stairs, step. Eat healthier and
more often. You want to build a metabolism. Don't
worry too much about portion size. Snack all day on
good for you stuff like celery and peanut butter, apples
and yogurt, tuna sandwich and dried fruit, eat an egg
every morning.

Running is the best exercises because it
helps you burn the calories,
Walking, Sprinting and adding hills or an
incline can burn 180 calories in 30
Bicycling and Swimming of 30 minutes can
burn 400 to 500 calories....

Some simple weight loss tips are given as follows:
Avoid eating the food items which contains the carbohydrates like rice and bread.
Follow your simple and regular diet. Include more fruits and vegetables in your diet.
To improve your metabolism drink at least 7-8 glasses of water each day.
Don't eat much only at once. Instead of it try to take your food in three intervals.
Regular exercise is must for the weight loss. Anyone can easily follow some simple exercises like walking and running.

i think you should have to think about your diet because this is the most important thing for health.and then you have to do excercise daily and eat fresh food that can reduce fat like eggs and oatmal.then you will get a perfect body.

well its a major problem for everyone.millions of people having this problem and they trying to get rid of this.for this they often go to gym and doing workout there just because of losing belly fat.i also do the same i suggest you to do excercise and reduce your stomach fat and be safe from diseases.

My sister is a dietician, and I'm a health nut.

First, you wanna start hitting the gym. This is something you should be doing, even if your not looking to lose weight. You'll look and feel better. You'll have more energy, and your libido will boost up too.

Next you wanna look at how you hydrate yourself. You shouldn't be mixing water with food. The water you drink should be left to go through your body without anything else. So when you wake up.. 500mls right away. Wait for 20 minutes before eating. Then dig in.

500mls every 2 - 3 hours.

But if you REALLY wanna lose all that weight quickly, you're going to have to be insanely meticulous about what you eat, and what times you're eating.

If you guys want to lose weight, the only way that worked for me was joining WEIGHT WATCHERS. It was the best decision i have ever made, i have lost 17.6 lbs in just 8 weeks and you keep the weight off. The meetings are very motivational and supportive. Don't go on any of those weird no carb diets or something restrictive like that. Weight watchers is for real people who want to learn how to eat in the real world and stay healthy. The crucial part to any exercise plan is sticking with it, so the main priority is to choose exercises that you enjoy or ones that get you motivated. All the ones you mentioned in your list, if you work them properly, will burn enough calories. If you train effectively for 45 mins, 3 times per week, you will see results.
