Weight & Fat Loss | Problems with my thighs and butt [male]

Hi.

I've always been kinda big for my age and stature. Last year, though, I decided to change my eating habits, and work out a bit more. I used to be 140 lbs, but now I'm 120. I used to do about 200 sit ups a night, as well as Dance Dance Revolution (yeah, don't laugh) which really helped.

But now, even the though my upper body is skinny, my lower body is still pretty big. I've noticed whenever I step, my butt and thighs jiggle like mad.

I was wondering if there are any exercises that I could do in order to help me lose that fat and become slim. I would love to have skinny legs.

Diet-wise, I think I'm fine. Fruits and vegetables are a big part of my diet (as well as drinking just water), and I eat very little bread (about 2 pieces a day, and it's whole wheat).

I would be eternally grateful for any advice.

I'm sorry, I assumed based on the fact that you want to lose weight and you're 120 pounds. I think you should focus on maintaining a healthy BMI. To acheive this follow the rules of nutrition

Also, you may want to see a nutritionist to see exactly how many calories you should be ingesting.

Actually, I'm seventeen, but I'm really small and get mistaken for a thirteen-year old all the time.

Thank you very much.

I'm assuming you're much younger. If you are you write well for your age. If you are still a young teen don't focus on your weight too much. Just keep eating lean meats, veggies, fruits, good fats and stay active.

There are a few theories out there that suggest you reach a 'set point(that is the weight you'll approximately be for the rest of your life)' when you are about 23. So just stay active, eat healthy and you'll be set for your life.

As for exercises that reduce you butt and legs: You can't spot reduce! The best advice we can give you is in this article:
