Workout Talk | New workout routine help

I just started a new workout routine. It's kind of like HIIT training. My main goal is to slim down but also get stronger. Here is basically how the routine is: Day 1 is Upper Body Front/Lower Body Back. 1 set would be Bench Press followed by Deadlift with out resting. I would do 3 sets then rest for 60-90 seconds before next exercises. Day 2 is opposite of day 1. My concern is, I know it's good for fat burning, but Im worried that Im wearing myself out and by the time I get to later exercises I cant do as much weight as when I was doing normal lifting. Does my body need time to adjust to this routine, and will I still get stronger doing it?
