im a 17 yr old dude im 6'3 at least and i weigh nearly 200 lbs. my problem is that when i do compound excersizes such as a bench press, i feel the excersize as if it were a shoulder press, and my chest refuses to grow as my shoulders have. same for lat pulldowns i feel the burn in my biceps and posterior deltoids, but not my back muscles...advice anyone?

Arnold once stated that while he was doing barbell curls he would envision his biceps filling the room.
Concentrate on the muscles that you are training for lats... grip the bar a little wider than shoulder width thumbs over and imagine your hands are hooks and your arms are levers transfering the resistance to the lats. and imagine squeeseing a tennis ball between your shoulder blades as your pulling downwards.

I am thinking your problem maybe posture and or form... couple suggestions; less weight (-5lb)lift w/ a weight that offers enough resistance that you can not complete no more than 12 reps but no less than 6 reps. Focus on proper form, use internet for proper lifting techniques, and remember back striaght, shoulders back, head high..
