General Health | Medifast diet

Has anyone tried the medifast diet? I understand that it uses high-protein food supplements to help you lose weight faster and more easily. But, why use the Medifast Diet when you could just eat more protein rich foods and take a whey protein shake?

In my experience with people who have done liquid diets, the results are not good. Yes they lose weight but when the bodyfat was tested, the fat actually increased, and their lean tissue decreased. Not good!! This means their metabolism went down. The key is to first, strengh train to increase lean mass. This will allow your body to burn more calories at rest. Also do cardio 5 to 7 days a week. it takes 3500 calories less per week to lose 1 pound of fat.So cardio will help you burn more calories daily. The result will be a healthier body, mind ,leaner physique!!! good luck to you!!!
