10/11/2009 2:51:44 AM | I actually thought the opposite was true that if you train during being sick, that your body heat generated helps to reduce the timeframe of being affected. Is there any benefit of working out while beign sick?
I do know sometimes I'll go to Body Combat/Kickboxing and realise I just dont have any energy in me to go through the routine....so I guess in that sence you can either use the energy for workout or it's used by your body to combat dieases, but both cannot work at the same time...

6/16/2009 3:05:16 AM | Yes, your immune system can be compromised after rigorous workout. I used to get the colds/ flu sooo easily after a week of training or if I pushed myself too hard. I also attributed it to a food intolerance as well as I guess that the fat stores that I was burning was releasing toxins back into my system.
