Suggestions & Comments | Is insanity safe for older individuals?

I am 62 years old and I now do Insanity every other day (the month one exercises minus the recovery session. When I did Insanity every day I had palpitations but now the palpitations now have stopped even if I am drinking tea and a little coffee. At 62 I am just too old for Insanity every day. I also use an exercise heart monitor and slow down when the pulse gets to 140. My recent physical vitals were 112/70 and 65 pulse. If you have bad knees or joints, do not do Insanity.

I am a personal trainer too and still think P90 X
may be too hard on the knees if you end up lifting
incorrectly. The good news is that there are other
programs out there that can help and are
productive, I would be happy to discuss in more
depth if you are interested.

Thanks for this... I appreciate the
follow-up to your other post.

Have you tried other programs like P90X?
