I'm doing a muscle building workout which is going great, but it doesn't emphasize at all on abs. What should I do to lose stomach fat and replace it with abs?

Hey, i am going through the same exact thing. I would add cardio exercises. Running on the treadmill, elliptical machine or a stationary bike. This is soley for losing the weight. If you are in to supplements there are some great ones on the market right now that have great feedback. To build the ab muscles do exercises such as decline situps with weights, decline ab crunches toward both sides to incorporate the obliques, leg lifts of the lower abs and hanging ab crunches bringing your legs up to the center and each side. you can add weight to any of these exercises to help build more muscles. To tone your stomach and get the ripped look, drop the weight and do more reps. I hope this helps!! cant wait to hear back!!

An excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your
TV: sit on a
stool, and put your toes under something (piece of
heavy furniture, for example). In your hands hold a
little dumbbell. Please, make sure that it is not very
heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you will
damage your back and spine!
Slowly move the upper part of your body back, until
it's parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and
move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times.
Every week add to the number of repetitions.

Drink more and more water . i am not sure if u can loss some fat from ur stomach with yoga exercises . But still i know cardio exercises are best for lossing some weight and for body fitness . eat healthy food avoid and junk and fried foods . BEst of luck

You should try yoga.I described lists of yoga:Pavan-Muktasan, Bhujangasan, The Bow, Paad-Pashchimottanasan. May be help you.

Incorporate anaerobic exercise into your workout to increase fat loss and also incorporate resistance ab exercises. Anaerobic exercise includes sprinting, jumping, weight lifting (I'll discuss in a moment). Anaerobic training would include running a 50 yd sprint, resting for 20 sec, then repeating the process for a certain amount of reps. Basically anaerobic training includes a rep of high intensity followed by a low intensity rep or short rest. To incorporate anaerobic training into your weight lifting, you need to include supersets on most exercises. So if you are doing a back and bicep workout, do a set of pullups followed immediately by a set of dumbbell curls, then rest for 60-90 seconds and repeat.

For ab workouts do resistance exercises, meaning with weights, cables, or bands. Some of the best are the cable crunch and full body crunches with 10 lbs. The full body crunch: lay down with your body completely horizontal, hold a 10 lb plate behind your head, bring your knees to your head and your head to your knees.

Resistance ab workouts will greatly increase your results.
