Body Building | How can you get bulk and strong (in terms of endurance)

I am a 14 year old male about 5'5 and weigh 125 pounds give or take, and have done competitive swimming for about 4 years. I am pretty toned already, but how can I get more bulky and get better endurance? I mean now that I quit swimming, what could increase my endurance when I swam 2 times a day for 2 hours?
Also, should I be lifting weights or using machines at my age or should I wait until my body itself matures more?
Thank you.

Hey,
thanks for this reply, I'll try getting into this program. Also, because you suggested this program, I am assuming that weight lifting is acceptable for 14-15 year olds?
One more question, I looked over all the lower abdominal workouts that are shown on this site, but none of them give a direct burn on my lower abs. When I do my crunches I place my feet on the floor and do them slowly but I feel the burn mostly on my upper and mid abdominal muscles.
Thank you once again.

Hey There,

I would suggest you try this program to increase your muscle mass. The problem is that the muscle fibre that can be converted picks either 'endurance type' (long and lean) or 'fast twitch' (power). So for most people it's hard to optimize both at the same time. They have to go through 'phases' and train what we call in periodization.
