General Health | Hamstring rehab stretches and exercises help


I have had reoccurring problems with both of my hamstrings, i have rested for 4 weeks now and starting to do some running in the gym.

I play football (soccer) ;-) and my hamstring keep going.

I am looking for some advise on rehab and training for them to get stronger and more flexible.

I go the gym 4 times a week purely doing heavy weights on my upper body and i think this may be the cause, that my legs and core muscles are not strong enough.

What type of routine should I do, e.g. bike, stretches, then weights?

What type of exercises and sets/reps should i be doing?

Any help or info would be great.
