Exercise Questions | Exercise bike workout question?

hi i was just wondering if anyone knows what would be a better way to loose 10 pounds on an exercise bike either 30 minutes 5 days a week or 1 hour 3 times a week with a day rest in between

Another thing I also want to add is that the more you bike (or any other exercise), the more your body adapts to that exercise; meaning that you will burn less calories if you're consistent. If you want consistent results, you would need to increase intensity (either duration/speed etc) or try varying your exercise eg: running or swimming every other day.

The latter one.
Reason: It takes an average of 20 minutes of aerobic activity to tap into your fat stores. You are ideally burning 10 minutes worth of fat (50 mins total) from doing 30 mins/5 days. Compare it with the 40 minutes of fat (120 mins total/week) you would burn doing it for an hour/3 days.
