How much fish would I have to eat to get supplement levels of creatine? Is there a scale somewhere showing how much creatine is in different foods?

According to this article a pound of raw herring gets you 3-4 grams of creatine at 1500 calories. That works in my diet. 3-4 grams is also listed as enough to do a slow build to max out on creatine and enough for the maintenance phase. I wonder why it must be raw though. Is creatine damaged by heat? Or if cooked in a soup(retaining all the juices) could you still get the same amount and quality of creatine?

That's a great topic for an article. We are in the midst of researching and writing. We will post the link when we are done.

Thanks,
