Exercise Questions | Abs every day?

Hi all!!

just wondering if doing abs everyday is a bad thing. for my arms and legs i give a day or two to recover but someone once told me doing abs every day is okay.

i do about 20 minuts of abs a day i try to change up the routine and am getting new ideas from this website.

am i not really seeing results cuz its everyday or should i different ab routines and make them longer?

it's good to train the abs daily but you most have a day off cause they need to grow

Like Train Monday-Saturday and Rest on Sunday

But you can train the abs daily

Very cool..however, I do abs everyday...before each meal..I love it...but it can hide behind your tummy if you do not throw that cardio in. Great Q!!

You need to treat your abs just like every other muscle group. It requires rest for recovery. That being said you also need to train to fatigue and only get 6-8 (hypertrophy), 12-15 (muscular definition).

You will start to see your abs when you decrease your overall bodyfat. Try to increase your cardio sessions and also increase the overall amount of compound exercises. Those tweaks alone should help make your abs appear.

Well you could try doin it on the exercise ball. Its said to be that you are getting more out of abdominal workouts that way rather than doin it on the ground where you have less range of motion..I would look up a little more on that though...
