Weight & Fat Loss | can anyone suggest any proven ways for weight loss?????

Hi everyone, I have been really obsessed with my weight problem. I am a 33 year old female and have gained 90lbs which makes the count to 210. I recently took out some of my summer clothes and they don’t fit me anymore!!! This is a real tragedy for me. How can I not wear the ones I adore...moreover the new look is getting me mad (with the comments from my friends). I know quite a few ways to start losing weight…….but I don’t really feel that, with so many people failing using these methods that I will make it through. Does anyone know a proven way to reduce the weight?

Please help me…..this is killing me!!!

I believe you can make it through!

Posting this question is a good step to asking for help and reaching out. You have had a lot of good advice already from what I have read from the previous replies.

For now, forget about your clothes and forget about your weight. Start doing light exercise like just walking around your block which gives you a sense of achievement.

Losing weight is a challenge, however, check the steps that I listed so that it may eliminate some that may be sabotaging your success.

Hi my name is Ryan Nicholas Gaydovchik I am a NESTA Certified Personal Fitness Trainer. Well the number one thing for you to do is making sure you are eating...I know it sounds funny but it has been proven that eating 6 small meals a day raises your metabolism and which in sence makes you lose weight. Remember to eat healthy fruits veggies, sugars sparingly and no soda at all. Food Guide Pyramid is a great guide. Also if you don't have time to go to a gym, just even if it is walking a dog or walking in your neighborhood start walking at least 3 times a day for about 20 minutes then gradually increase the intensity and length of walks to power walking to light jogging you don't want to over do it if you get out of breath then you are working too hard so get to the point where you are know you can handle you'll know try that for about 5-6 weeks you will see a difference. Any other questions feel free to ask.

Hi there, dont be discouraged. I recently lost 25 pounds and feel fantastic. You have to be consistant with your cardio workout and strength training. I work out Monday -Thursday for 1.5 hrs. i do 40-45 minutes on the eliptical (i have knee problems) and do weights (lighter weights more repetitions) I eat very little dairy and cut back on anything with yeast. I eat every 2 hours and really enjoy my food now. You can treat yourself but portion control is the key.i also started drinking Greens Plus every morning. Good luck.

Here you have 10 real ways to lose weight. Worked
for me.

Tip 1: Find out how many calories you need
BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate)
BMR [kcal]
Body Weight [lb] x 15 + (moderate activity
[mins/day] x 3.5)
Since you wish to lose weight, your target = BMR -
500 kcal
For instance, you weigh 140 lb and you perform 20
mins of moderate activity every day. BMR of this
example = (140 x 15) + (20 x 3.5) = 2100 + 70 =
2170 kcal. BMR minus 500kcal; it would be 2170 -
500 = 1670 kcal. Therefore 1670 kcal is the target
in this example to losing 1 lb per week.

Tip 2: Eat at least 5 servings of fruits and
vegetables per day
Fruits and vegetables are packed with beneficial
fibers, vitamins and antioxidants. They fill up your
stomach fast so you feel full earlier. They are also
low in calories and helps to keep your calorie count
low.
Read more: Top 5 Healthiest Foods

Tip 3: Watch for Portion Size
One serving of pasta means 1/2 cup of cooked
pasta. However, most restaurants serve a pasta
dish with 4 servings of pasta!!! You do not need to
finish and clean off the plate every time. You can
simply ask to take home the leftover.

Tip 4: Do not Skip Meals
Eating small frequent meals help to balance your
calorie intake throughout the day and also keeps
your blood sugar level balanced. Instead of eating 3
big meals, try to eat 5 - 6 smaller meals throughout
the day.

Tip 5: Go for wholesome fresh foods
If possible, purchase fresh foods and avoid package
(processed) and convenient foods such as fast food.
Packaged and convenient foods are often higher in
sodium and fat content. Many people we spoke to
are amazed that they can easily lose weight by
packing a home-cooked lunch to work instead of
eating out.

Tip 6: Don't be overly-restrictive
Everyone has his or her favorite treats. Simply allow
yourself a little indulgence, but watch out for the
frequency and the quantity. Having a small treat
once in a while can be rewarding to your weight
loss experience. Cutting too much of your favorite
treats usually lead to an early relapse.

Tip 7: Understand Food Claims and Labels
A product labelled with a fat-free claim does not
mean that it is low in calories. Similarly a product
labelled as low-sugar or low-carb does not mean it
is low in fat or calories. Always read the nutrition
label on the packaging.

Tip 8: Watch for the sugary drinks
Juices, pop, cream & sugar in your coffee or tea all
add up. Opt for drinking at least 8 glasses of water
a day. In addition to providing hydration to your
body, it will also help you feel full.

Tip 9: Keep a food journal
Keeping a food journal helps you pin point your
eating pattern and will enable you to easily modify
it. If possible, have your Registered Dietitian review
your journal.

Tip 10: Exercise, period
Most authorities recommend 30 - 60 minutes of
physical activity a day to stay healthy. Also try
adding weight-bearing exercises at least 2 times a
week. This will help burn some of the unwanted
calories.

Anaerobic Excercise is the best way to
increase fat loss and thus weight loss.

Exercise Postexercise Oxygen
Consumption.

EPOC is the reason there is a much
greater percentage of fat loss as a
result of Interval Training then there
is with Aerobic Workouts, such as
running distances. As you perform your
very intense Interval Workout, your
body takes the gylcogen from your
muscles and converts it into energy.
With the high intensity of Interval
Training, the majority of your glycogen
will be used, leaving your muscles
depleted after the workout is finished.
So how do your muscles refill
themselves of glycogen? Instead of
using the sugar in your blood stream
for energy your body converts the sugar
from the blood stream into glycogen to
be stored in the muscles. So how does
the body produce energy to run? Since
the sugar from the blood stream is
converted into glycogen, the body
begins to derive it's energy from
stored fat, as the fat in the blood
stream is now readily available in an
oxygen rich environment. This process
is at its highest for about an hour
after the workout, however, it will
continue for up to 48 hours, dependent
on how intense your workout is.

Want to lose 9 lbs in just 11 days?? Proven to work!!

Weight Loss Facts:

Low Fat Foods DON'T WORK.

You cannot lose weight using Low Fat Diets. Low fat foods have been popular for more than 15 years, but yet our society is getting more overweight as each year passes. This fact alone should tell you that eating a purely low fat menu is not the answer to losing weight.

Low Calorie Diets DON'T WORK.

You won't lose weight using a Low Calorie Dieting Plan either. In fact, eating low calories is the worst thing that you can do to your body, since that will only slow down your body's fat burning engine and ruin all chances of losing weight (low calorie diets may allow a few pounds of weight loss for the first few days, but then after that all weight loss comes to a halt --- known as a dieting plateau). You can never get slim by starving yourself.

Low Carb Plans DON'T WORK.

You'll probably find it extremely difficult to get slim using a Low Carb Dieting Plan. Low carb diets have recently become popular over the last couple years, but the problem with low carb menus is that they are too strict and TOO HARD TO FOLLOW for average people. Low carb menus tend to rob your body of too much energy (carbohydrates) and make it nearly impossible to remain on the program for very long. This is why so many dieters find it difficult to follow a strict low carbohydrate menu.

What about Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig Dieting Plans?

Weight loss programs such as Weight Watchers (and Jenny Craig) usually involve slower dieting progress over a longer period of time, since such programs generally promise only 2-3 pounds of weight loss per week. Also, programs such as Jenny Craig usually involve buying special meals and/or dietary supplements during the initial phases of the program.

Good nutrition and exercise are a must. You can also drink healthy coffee. I know a friend who's been exercising for years and eating right and hasn't been able to take off the weight. She started drinking healthy coffee with ganoderma extra and in the last month she has lost 11 pounds. Email me if you are interested and I can tell you more. Good luck.

I HAVE THE SOLUTION FOR YOU!!!

Here is the secret that is absoloutely guaranteed to work every time for every person.

There are only three things you must do and you will be healthy and thin for the rest of your life.

1.) Eat right

Real food, nothing in a box, can, bag or any other kind of package (unless it's carrots or lettuce or something) Cooking is fun, enjoy it.

2.) Work Out

Minumum 3x per week, more for faster results. I suggest interval training and weight training combined. Rest at least one day per week.

3.) Repeat Steps One and Two every single day, week, month, year, forever.

Consistency is the key. You must decide if it's more important for you to cheat (instant, shallow gratification) or for you to succeed (long lasting, deep gratification).

That's all there is to it. This method has never failed, not even once. Step three is your guarantee.

If you are sick and tired of your
flabby abs, then here are some easy
fast weight loss ideas:
• Drink plenty of water
throughout the day. Drinking eight
glasses of water is almost like a must.
And do not forget to drink water in the
morning, the moment you wake up. In
fact this is one of the most rapid
weight loss tips that the dieticians
suggest to the people.
• Have organic foods for the
breakfast like apples, bananas, plain
yogurt, tomatoes, carrots, peppers, raw
honey, wild smoked salmon, and so on.
• Keeping a track on the watch,
go for an hour walk. It need not be
power walking, but definitely it should
be non-stop walk and that’s for sure,
in a couple of days only, you’ll start
finding the difference in you.
• Another tip regarding how to
lose weight fast, easy and safe is that
you should have your dinner about 4-5
hours before going off to sleep.
• The two-point program that will
ensure the ultimate success is: regular
exercise and balanced diet.
• Don’t depend upon fat burning
diet supplements. They wont go a long
way in helping you sustain your reduced
kilos.
• Soft drinks cannot benefit you
in any way. They contain 150 empty
calories, so if you substitute one
bottle of soft drink with water each
day, it will do wonders for you. It
will enable you to lose about 16 lbs
per year.
• Sometimes boredom becomes a
cause of overeating, so keep yourself
busy.
• If you want to seriously
control your weight, then you have to
stop yourself from getting lured into
trying tempting foods.
• As important is to pay
attention to the fact that we eat the
right food, equally vital is to keep a
watch on the quantity. Without altering
your diet plan, even if you’ll reduce
5-10% of your consumption, it will
prove beneficial.
• Eat slowly so that you can get
a feeling that you have had enough food
and your tummy is full. Eat slowly and
fully relish the taste.

Hello all :)

I have been working to lose weight for the past year now. Things have been up and down with my diet - at times encouraging, discouraging at others. You all know what I am going through! :) Over the last year I have really tried to stay on the path - eating right, exercising religiously almost every day, and still I hit plateaus that I just don't understand how it can be scientifically possible!

To Start With Go out & buy a top in the size you really want. leave it hanging in your room to encourge you. then cut a fat celeb foto out of a magazine then a thin one celatape it on the back of eachother and everytime you go to eat something fatty look at it . it should detire you. join a gym. i dont know if you have. you may think its scary and they will make fun of you. but i thought that at first too. its not liek that at all. eveyrone just gets on with there own thing. and respect you for trying. everyone compliments eachother. and you make new friends so you can ditch the ones with the bad comments. the only way to loose weight is to eat less calories than you burn. its a fact . or if you think you want a choclotte bar walk to the shop and get it not drive. theres loads of regular everyday options you could do . maybe walk to local places not drive. or when goin to the toilet maybe walk aroudn the house then up to it then aroudn the upper area of home then back down try and walks as much as possible. maybe go swimming ? its the best calorie burner. i also do weight lifting you should try small ones . there also good calorie burners. remember if you dont feel tired your exercise aint working. xxx

If you want to lose weight do this:
1st watch your diet but eat enough calories
2nd engage in HIIT- this will burn more fat than prolonged cardio sessions. Focus on compound full body lifts and exercises many of which can be done using your own bodyweight (google body weight exercises)

that is it.
no magic bullet
just hard work and resolve
