For all you who are worried about your waistline over the holidays, keep these points in mind:

 Don’t deprive yourself of the foods you love – you’re more likely to binge this way. Treat yourself to small portions of your favourites.
 Eat slowly and savour the flavour; the faster you eat.
 Don’t stand near the food table at a party, this makes it easy to “graze”. Put a few of your favourite treats on a plate and go mingle.
 Drink water frequently. This will help make you feel full – it also helps cut down on the amount of alcohol, pop, or other high-calorie, high-sugar drinks that you consume.
