Vanessa 3/6/2009 - I've been a member with Extreme for over a year. I started off at Dunfield hoping to get the $8 for 2 months plan. Didn't end up happening. Ended up going with a 13 month contract with 3 months free. Whenever I had a problem, the agent that signed me up was never there. He ended up leaving that location to go to another location. I ended up dealing with one of the GM's "Andrew". He was no help. Never follow ups on problems - even though he said they had some kind of training with their staff on how to better interact with clients - this was not portrayed by the staff. When I went to cancel my sister's membership, I ended up renewing for another year without realizing it! He told me the first month was free, but then I got billed. I tried calling, sent him an email - and no response. I ended up going in to talk with one of the other managers, and complaining about him. It was at least a 30 minute wait before I could speak to someone. Horrible experiences at the Dunfield. Prefer to go to the Richmonde club.

9/2/2008 - The only thing extreme about the Dunfield is its an extreme NIGHTMARE. Its been an 8 month long paint job, nothing is finished, very disapointing

Neelakshi 7/12/2008 - I wanted to join membership .Spoke to the customer rep.called SIMRAN and she was extremely rude,made us wait for a long time and still could not get anyone to show us the place around,,Had a very bad experience.

john 6/23/2008 - Staff are not helpful, do not smile, and are actually confrontational. They are not open about their pricing plans at all, and require you to sit with a sales rep. before giving any general prices.

Nina Kostenko 5/14/2008 - sauna in women's department - should be much more temperature. I understand about economizing but sauna is a sauna. And it must be a termometer there (in the sauna).

norac Trying to cram in too many people with $8/month membership without regard to impact on use of facilities (i.e., no room to stretch, little room in between equipment). Since Extreme took over, staff DO NOT seem to care. Not all trainers are sufficienty qualified. Fitness consultants use high pressure and unethical tactics to try & sell training sessions, even when they may not be needed.
